SEN Teacher at Charlton Park Academy

  • Salary: MPS/UPS (Inner London) + SEN Allowance (SEN1/SEN2). TLR/recruitment & retention available for suitable candidates.
  • Contract: Permanent, full-time (part-time/job-share considered).
  • Start: January 2026 (or as soon as available)

The Role

You’ll:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, sensory regulation-aware lessons aligned with EYFS/KS1/KS2 and Equals approaches.
  • Collaborate with therapists, families, and other professionals to support student development through EHCPs.
  • Foster a safe, communicative, and ambitious environment.

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome applications from:

  • Primary/EYFS teachers with successful experience in EYFS/KS1/KS2 and a strong interest in SEND.
  • Teachers with knowledge of autism or a willingness to develop skills in structured teaching (TEACCH), sensory regulation, AAC, and positive behaviour support.
  • ECTs with enthusiasm for SEND and a commitment to high-quality professional development.
