The Academy Trust Governors have the key responsibility of raising school standards through their three key roles of setting strategic direction, ensuring accountability, monitoring and evaluating school performance.

 

This handbook illustrates the legal framework in which the Governing Body of Charlton Park Academy Trust must operate. The regulations and documents listed in this guidance provide the legal requirements that the Academy’s governance arrangements must comply with, particularly in relation to how the membership of the board is decided, how meetings will be held and how decisions will be made.

Charlton Park Academy invites you to stand for election as a parent governor, or to nominate another parent/carer to do so. At Charlton Park Academy, we have provision for two Parent Governors and there is currently one vacancy. Please see the letter below for full information.
