The Government has released new guidelines for people who are at higher risk of needing critical care if they catch coronavirus.

New Physical Activity Guidelines

The UK Chief Medical Officer has published physical activity guidelines for disabled children and disabled young people. The guidelines are in place to support disabled children and young people to be more active. They advise 20 minutes of exercise per day and strength and balance activity 3 times a week.

Public Health England has published this very helpful poster which summarises the social distancing guidance for education and childcare settings.


The DfE has updated guidance on vulnerable children and young people to include additional information on children with education health and care (EHC) plans and children in alternative provision (AP) settings.
