Here are some important dates to remember in December for Students and Parents and Carers.

Please note that end of term and last day of school for students is Thursday 19th December 2024. 

There will be an INSET day for CPA staff on Friday 20th December.

Important Dates for our Students

Event: Human Rights Day
Date: Tuesday 10th December
Time: All day
About: Tuesday 10th December 2024 is Human Rights Day This years’ theme is “Our rights, our future, right now”. It is a day for our student to think about their needs, wants and fears and hopes for the present and the future.

Event: Sunshine Day
Date: Wednesday 11^th December
Time: All day
About: Wednesday 11^th December is CPA Sunshine Day. The theme is “joining together” and we will be thinking about how we can work together and help each other. We are asking our students to come dressed in brightly coloured clothes to help celebrate.

Event: Christmas Jumper Day
Date: Thursday 12^th December
Time: All day
About: We encourage our students to embrace the spirit of Christmas and come to school dressed in a colourful Christmas jumper! We will be raising money for Save the Children and ask our students’ to bring a small amount of money to donate to this important cause.

Event: Cinema Experience Day
Date: Monday 16th December
Time: All day
About: We will be transforming our school multi hall into a cinema and our students will be watching a movie. Just like being at a real cinema!

Event: Christmas Dinner & Christmas Markets
Date: Wednesday 18^th December
Time: All day
About: We will be holding our annual Christmas Dinner. Our students will enjoy a delicious Christmas meal and will even get to meet Father Christmas!

We will also be holding a Christmas Market and our Key Stage 5 students will be selling craft items they have made for their Enterprise Project. We ask that students bring a small amount of money to buy one or two items.

Event: Winter Wonderland
Date: Thursday 19^th December
Time: All day
About: On the last day of the school term for our students we will be holding our fun filled Winter Wonderland party. There will be opportunities to meet Santa, a disco and a time to celebrate with friends from other classes.

Time: 10am to 12pm
Location: Charlton Park Academy
About: Please come along to learn new skills- sewing/crafts etc

Session: Charlton Chit Chat Parent/Carer Coffee Morning
Date: Every Wednesday during term time
Time: 10am to 12pm
Location: Trinity Community Centre/Burrage Road Plumstead SE18
About: Please come along to meet other parents and carers, have a chat and a cup of tea or coffee.

Session: Choir parent group 12.15-1.30 with the Greenwich carers group (at Trinity)
Date: Every Wednesday during term time
Time: 12.15pm to 1.30pm
Location: Trinity Community Centre/Burrage Road Plumstead SE18
About: Join our parents and carers for a weekly choir.

Session: Blue badge and freedom pass individual sessions
Date: Monday 16th December
