Here are some important dates to remember in July for students, parents and carers.
The last day of the school year will be Friday 18th July.
There will be two INSET days for teaching staff only on Monday 21st and Tuesday 22nd July.

Important Dates for our Students
Event: Sunshine Day
Date: Wednesday 2nd July
About: We will be holding our final Sunshine Day for the school year. The theme is “Be Kind to Yourself” and there will be some lovely activities for our students to take part in. We encourage our students to come dressed in their favourite brightly coloured clothing to help celebrate.
Event: Whole School celebration of the year
Date: Friday 18th July
Time: 10.00 to 11.30am
Location: We are having a whole school disco in the covered playground area.
About: It will be a celebration of all the hard work our pupils have done over the past year and an opportunity for them to come together with their friends and have fun!
Event: Post 16 Leavers Prom
Date: Friday 18th July
Time: 5pm to 8pm
Location: Charlton Park Academy covered playground area
About: We will be holding our annual Post 16 Leavers Prom for our students who will be leaving CPA. We are looking forward to a fun and happy event for our students as we wish them a warm farewell.
Dates for our Parents and Carers
Event: Blue Badge and Freedom Pass
Date: Monday 7th July
Times available: 10.30, 11.00, 11.30, and 12.00
About: We are holding Blue Badge and Freedom Pass sessions at Charlton Park Academy for parents and carers. Please book in if you would like support with Blue Badge or Freedom Pass for your young person. If you would like to come along please let Sara Johnson know which timeslot you would like on email: sjohnson@charltonparkacademy.co.uk
Event: CPA GCSE & AS Level Art Exhibition
Date: Tuesday 15th July
Time: 3.30pm to 5.30pm
About: Everybody is invited to come along to Charlton Park Academy AS and GCSE Level Art Exhibition. See the fantastic works of art created by our students.
Entry via main Reception at Charlton Park Academy on Charlton Park Road, SE7 8HX.
Event: Stay and Play
Dates: 28/7 to 29/8
Time: 9.30am to 3.00pm
About: From Monday 28th July to 29th August 2025 we will be running Stay and Play.
We invite parents and carers to come along and supervise your CPA students.
You will have access to: Our large outside play park, covered sports area, music area, art and crafts area and multi-hall.
Event: Parent & carer picnics
Dates: Friday 1st August, Friday 8th August & Friday 29th August
About: We will be holding parent and carer picnics with Sara Johnson on dates above.
Please do come along with a dish to share with other parents and carers. Entrance via Cemetery Lane. We look forward to welcoming you! 🙂

About: Please come along to learn new skills- sewing/crafts etc
Session: Charlton Chit Chat Parent/Carer Coffee Morning
Date: Every Wednesday during term time
Time: 10.00 to 12.00
Location: Trinity Church Community Centre, 26 Burrage Road, Plumstead SE18 7JW
About: Please come along to meet other parents and carers, have a chat and a cup of tea or coffee.
