Autism and Neurodiversity Acceptance Week at CPA 15-19th April 2024

For the first time at Charlton Park Academy, we will be participating in the annual Autism and Neurodiversity Acceptance Week. It is an annual event that is held all over the world to teach people about autism and neurodiversity. Students will have many exciting opportunities to share stories and take part in various activities to develop their understanding of autism.
Parent session
We are holding a ‘Light It Up Blue’ session for parents and carers taking place on Monday 15 April at Charlton Park Academy site from 10am to 11am to talk about autism and neurodiversity.
Wear blue on Friday 19 April
To mark the end of the week, we encourage our staff and students to wear blue (the colour for autism) on Friday 19 April.
