With rising temperatures, there has been an increase in incidents across the country where young people have experienced difficulties in and around water. Tragically, some of these incidents have resulted in the loss of lives.
Water safety is an important part of our curriculum offer, but this half term we will be placing a greater focus on this aspect. Over the coming weeks, we will be teaching your child about the importance of staying safe around water and how to respond if they or someone else encounters trouble. To help reinforce this crucial message, we encourage you to discuss water safety with your child and below are some resources for further information:
