National Careers Week (NCW) is a celebration of careers guidance and free resources in education across the UK. The aim is to provide a focus for careers guidance activity at an important stage in the academic calendar to help support young people leaving education.

AUTUMN 2020
For the first term of Vocational Studies all key stages will follow the same scheme of learning. Differentiated schemes of learning will be in place for spring term1 with a focus on functional skills in KS3, Work related learning/ Career in KS4 and Work Experience/ career in KS5.
Students will be introduced to career choices whilst taking part in practical functional activities following the theme: Festive decorations
Learners will have opportunities to experience making festive products with a focus on the career’s opportunities linked to the activities. The practical work can be directly linked to the learning made during Creative and Cultural lessons and follow the ‘Festive’ topic delivered this term.
