Climate Action Programme
– November 2019
We will be involved in a pilot programme entitled the ‘Climate Action Programme’. This is a project designed to inform students about what climate change is and how we, as a school, address the effects of it. It will be an exciting and important programme for us all to take part in.

Key Stage 3
Welcome to Key Stage 3
Key Stage 3 students in years 7,8 and 9 (age 11-14). Students generally transition in from primary schools in the September of year 7, however we sometimes have students join us mid year. Our aim is to ensure a smooth as possible transition into Charlton Park Academy, and with that there is an extensive transition programme in place to ensure both students and families are as familiar as possible with the academy, its staff, and who to go to if they have any questions or concerns.
We have a Key Stage assembly once a week, where we celebrate our school values and significant achievements of students across the key stage. Our Key Stage 3 choir is the highlight of the week for many students as we sing and sign a variety of songs, sharing with the rest of the academy during whole school events and celebrations throughout the year.
