Internship Talk (SEND)
June Biggs has been seconded for one year, since September 2019, from the Royal Borough of Greenwich to investigate the viability of setting up a sustainable supported internship programme for young people with SEND. A supported internship is a one year, unpaid opportunity for young people to be immersed into a work place, learning real work skills whilst also still receiving academic teaching on functional skills.
