National Poetry Day | Online Events

Royal Borough of Greenwich

As many of you will know, it is National Poetry Day on Thursday 7 October.

Poetry Talk

Liv Torc Live Poetry Talk – we are delighted that poet Liv Torc will be recording a live poetry session for all RBG schools on Tuesday 5th October. For those of you who attended our RBG virtual poetry conference last year, you will be familiar with Liv and her fantastic work. Specialising in poems about climate change, this award-winning performer will share her experience of being a poet and then treat us to a selection of her poems.

It would be fantastic if you could watch live with your students to create a Greenwich live poetry event.

The sessions will be:
9.30 – 10.00 for Years 1-4
10.15 – 10.45 Years 5-8

A recording will be available afterwards. To find out more about Liv and her work, please visit: Home – Liv Torc.

Please see below for the joining details. It is the same link for both sessions
